Project for FAO Schwarz - designed in 1996.

CAESARS PALACE FORUM  Las Vegas, NV

FAO Schwarz desired to place an retail store inside Ceasars.  I was employed by a subcontractor to submit concept and detailed designs.  I created a number of concept drawings, sketches and suggestions for animation, store interior fixtures and lighting details which were eventually incorporated in the final 30 foot structure.  The final Trojan Horse was constructed of carved concrete and cost $11,000,000 and was a sensational attraction.  It contained the retail store in the belly on the second floor accessible by an elevator and ramp. I suggested sculptured light fixtures for the walls and a see-through floor that would display gears, pistons, and apparatus that would be in motion as an added attraction.  It was a faux illusion as the real mechanics were hidden from view. I assume that due to budget restrictions some of the suggested motion events and details were excluded.
